A home described as being off Lindberg Road could belong to several neighborhoods with different build years and house sizes. Lindberg Village has its own record, and should be identified separately from the other neighborhoods along the road.
Lindberg Village and the nearby records
Lindberg Village itself closed 22 homes between October 2024 and October 2026 at a median of $309,500. But eleven ranked neighborhoods sit within half a mile of Lindberg Road, they closed 194 homes between them, their houses were built anywhere from 1935 to 2026, and their medians run from $260,250 to $583,250.
The road is a location. It is not a price.
Lindberg Village, as the map prints it
- Closed sales: 22
- Median sale: $309,500
- Range: $268,975 to $395,000
- Typical size: 1,660 square feet
- Built: 2003 to 2017
- New construction in the window: none
- Homes for sale when the map was last read: 3
Those three were asking $289,900, $328,900 and $349,900, from 1,250 to 1,659 square feet, all three beds and two baths. That is a snapshot from the date in the source line below, not a live count.
Two things stand out in that row for a seller. The range is narrow, about $126,000 from bottom to top across 22 sales, which is what a subdivision built inside fourteen years with houses of similar size produces. And every one of the 22 was a resale.
There is no builder in this record setting the pace. The number is owners selling to buyers.
The eleven rows along the road
Measured off the map's own road geometry and its neighborhood centers, these are the ranked neighborhoods whose centers sit within half a mile of Lindberg Road, with each row's own figures from the same two year window.
Four of those rows closed fewer than ten homes in two years. Northwestern Gardens, Green Meadows, The Orchards and Hills & Dales are small samples, and a median built on five or six sales moves a long way when one unusual house changes hands. Read those four as a direction, not a figure.
Ninety years of building, on one road
This is the part that explains the spread. The oldest houses in these eleven rows were built in 1935 and the newest in 2026. Northwestern Gardens was built from 1942 to 1958, Hills & Dales from 1935 to 1956, Wabash Shores from 1956 to 1979, Green Meadows from 1959 to 1994, Camelback inside the 1980s, Blackbird Farms from 1991 to 2014, Huntington Farms from 1997 to 2017, Lindberg Village from 2003 to 2017, Wake Robin from 1986 to 2019, The Orchards from 2003 to 2024, and Three Meadows from 2019 to 2026.
Typical sizes run from 1,392 square feet to 3,892. Twenty nine of the 194 sales were new construction, 28 of those in Three Meadows alone. Everything else along the road was a resale.
What this is not
It is not a ranking, and the rows above are not placed in order of desirability. They answer different questions: a 1940s house near campus, a 1980s house at a lower price, a 2026 house with nothing deferred. None of those is the best one.
The one that fits how a particular household lives is the only comparison worth making, and it is not a comparison between neighborhoods.
It is also not a live market. Twenty seven homes were for sale across these eleven rows when the map was last read, and that count changes weekly.
A Lindberg Village owner should start with the 22 sales in that neighborhood and identify the closest property comparisons. The $583,250 and $260,250 medians in other nearby records do not establish the value of that house.
The cited medians along Lindberg Road span about $300,000. A buyer should use the individual neighborhood and property records to understand that range, rather than assume the road name defines one type of house.
What your house is worth, which of these sales an appraiser would accept, and what the last phase in Three Meadows does to a 2005 resale nearby are not answered by a row on a map. Valuation of a specific property is its own piece of work and a lender's appraisal belongs to the appraiser.
The notes on what sells in Three Meadows and Hills & Dales cover two of these rows on their own. The West Lafayette neighborhood map carries every row and column behind this note, how to read that map explains the other columns, and the West Lafayette page sets out the town.
Source: 812 closed sales from the Indiana Regional MLS (via Redfin), Oct 2024 through Oct 2026, single-family, condo and townhome, as carried on the West Lafayette neighborhood map, read October 12, 2026 from map data as of October 5, 2026. Neighborhoods need at least five sales to be ranked. The eleven rows are those whose neighborhood centers sit within half a mile of the Lindberg Road segments on that same map, measured from the map's own geometry. New construction counts and the homes for sale are the map's own. No individual sale addresses are used.
This note is general. It is not an appraisal. What a specific house would bring depends on that house.
